Having fun at a wedding where you are not friends with everyone can be achieved with the right ingredients. This weekend, I discovered what it takes for me – besides too much vodka to have a blast…
First, the dress or suit – you can’t go half ass, if you don’t feel fantastic about how you look, your confidence will show and people won’t react well to you.
Second, transportation – if you are concerned with not being able to drink, or figuring out a ride somewhere, you won’t be able to relax and have a good time. My suggestion – renting a town car – definitely the best call. Cheaper than a taxi and it looks money.
Third, a date – having a boyfriend/girlfriend ensures an automatic date, but if you don’t have one, try to bring a friend you will have fun with or rent someone – it makes all the difference in the night when someone is paying attention to you and you aren’t affected by being alone.
I owe the success of the wedding I attended this past weekend to the above listed ingredients and believe if used in combination – a good time is guaranteed. I will be attending a wedding in a few weeks where I am not invited with a date and if there are any changes, I will update this post.
